- The work will be performed by EDP at the Icer Brakes Group manufacturing plant in Tudela, within the agreement that both companies maintain for the supply of energy.
- It will cover 19% of its annual consumption and will avoid the emission of 600 tons of CO2 every year.
The plant is being installed in the modern production center that the Icer Brakes Group has in Tudela, Navarra. With this plant, which has a power of 1.8 MWp and will start operating this year, the factory will cover 19% of its annual electricity consumption, more than 2,500 MWh, the equivalent of the average annual consumption of 700 homes. This project reinforces one of its priorities, the environmental commitment and the commitment to renewable resources and energy in its production processes. Self-consumption through this photovoltaic plant will avoid the emission of 600 tons of CO2 every year, that is, it produces a positive impact on air quality similar to that generated by 45,000 new trees.
